I wrote this blog last year in August, but I did write all myself so I, therefore, think it to still comply with assignment rules. Plus It’s my fav.

So I was watching the news this morning and all I heard talk about was the damn lunar eclipse. This may just be me, but what is so exciting about it? “Oh wow a big ass shadow!” Seriously, how lame is our lives that we feel a need to stay up till almost near 5 in the morning (Central Daylight Time) to see a shadow! It’s dark out at that time! There are plenty of shadows around!
“I don’t get enough shadows in my life so I need to lose my sleep so I can see a really HUGE one!” The first and only time I’ve ever seen a lunar eclipse was at 3 in the morning and my mom got me outta bed to go outside and see it. It was about as impressive as watching grass grow. I don’t even remember what she told me about it because I was that drunken sleepy state.
I hear talks that this eclipse was unusually longer than other ones. An hour and a half long eclipse. That means someone actually watched a shadow move for an hour and a half to record that a shadow was moving unusually slow on the moon. Maybe that means the end of the world, who knows. I wish someone would tell what day the world will end so I can play all my illegal activities beforehand. I always wanted to rob a bank old western style…
Now I’m just ranting. Have a good day.
Nice work, Victor! The photo is great.
