Kage of Cages (This was the nick name given to her by Captain Nanaki.)

Story:
After the deaths of her mother and father, Kage set out far and wide for the search of her twin brother, Dain. Kage’s motives have become a mystery over the years as to whether she intends to kill Dain or seek his alliance. Several years had past since the war between the demons and humans subsided and a civil society has begun to rise once more. Kage, who is now left without a purpose other then to pursue her long lost brother, wanders aimlessly from town to town, collecting information to his whereabouts. One day, while lounging at a bar by the docks, she comes across a young pirate captain stationed at the port. He was in search of an able bodied crew to help him claim his chance to fame as one of the most strongest and successful Pirate Captains alive. Though he picked a bad crowd to harass, they turned out to be more then he could handle but that didn’t stop him from shooting his mouth off at those who opposed him. Kage, feeling a bit of pity on the pirate silently decides to help him out. Unannounced to her, by making that decision, she was asking for a lot more then she bargained for. After making quick work of the men at the bar, both she and the pirate had attracted more takers to the fight, so without saying a word, she tugs his arm and they dart off toward the docks. With adrenaline pumping and the incapability to think straight, she agrees to come with this pirate and become a part of his crew. He is amply impressed that such a woman possessed such strength and agility. As he watched her fight, he commented that she fought like a merciless “devil”, which flaunted moves that he had never seen before. He introduces himself as the great and handsome Captain Nanaki and in doing so asks her for her name. She replies “My name is Kage” which he mistakes as the word “Cage” thus giving her the name “Kage of Cages” which she to this day is not very happy with. So the story begins, Kage has the rare chance to leave her past and everything behind her and be reborn into a new life sailing the seven seas.
Description:
Kage is a mystery to those around her; she is a shrouded shadow who is known to never allow her personality, expressions, disposition to be read by others. She is one to take immediate action yet never mention a word about it, which makes her terrifying in combat due to her unpredictability. As a pirate, Kage has a sharp tongue and a sharp wit; she the strong female of the pirate crew, who is often discriminated for being a woman fighter. Quite feared and deadly as a warrior, she tends to be very lenient towards the rest of the crew; acting more as a mentor then a ruthless cut throat. She is known to have a slight softer side that she struggles to hide from others, most of the time these feelings are aimed toward her younger sister (adopted as) kitty, which she has grown fond of over the years and has become overly protective of. Kage is very dignified and honorable and lives to protect those she cares for. She is forever loyal and devoted towards her captain, and is even known to willingly throw down her sword and her life for the sake of his safety. Her main goal is to aid him in his quest to one day become a respected and admired Pirate of the sea.
Kage is usually seen wearing a small Pirate’s coat over a small covering of bandages around her chest area. She ties a pirate flag around her waist that sits slightly below a studded belt, which is used to holster her twin swords when she doesn’t feel like putting them together as a staff. She wears stitched pants with leather skull boots that come up about knee high. She also wears a pair of gloves with the finger prints cut off from them and a bandage/eye patch that is used to cover her left eye (most likely to hide a second scar or marking). Her twin swords, which come together to form “Refang” are her most prized procession, which she takes good care of it and polishes every day.
