I’m going to tell you how awesome the new album from P.O.S. is, and you’re going to like it. First off, this is P.O.S.’s third full length studio LP on Doomtree Records under Rhymesayers Entertainment. This is unlike any other hip hop album you’ve heard before. It’s untraditional, but doesn’t suffer because of it. The beats used almost seem like they are not meant to be rapped over, but P.O.S. manages to bring such creativity and passion to the tracks that they sound great. When most people hear the album they might be put off by a few of the tracks I just described, but P.O.S. has also laced the album with more traditional hip hop tracks. The lyrics are about life, like most good hip hop is. Not the life that you hear on the radio that damn near no one can relate to. But working, going to school, not being able to pay bills, and relationships. Good hip hop is relatable and P.O.S. does a fantastic job of that.
