From the Superdome to the Superbowl

Starting off the season with 14 straight wins, the New Orleans Saints were bound to make NFL history. The 09′ NFL season, for the Saints, was a season of “1st”. This was the first time in Saints History that they hosted the NFC Championship and the first time they made it all the way to the Superbowl. Of course it wasn’t an easy journey, especially after losing the last 3 games of the regular season. After that many people looked down on the Saints (except for me). In the Playoffs the Saints recovered with an amazing performance by there star running-back Reggie Bush; who scored 2 touchdowns. Being from New Orleans, I had no doubt in my mind The Saints were going to be victorious in the post season. I will admit that Brett Farve and his Vikings gave us a run for our money. But in the end we came out on top, winning in Over-Time with a 40-yard field goal. Now with a 2 week break before the Superbowl The Saints and I will have to prepare for the “unstoppable” Colts. (shouldn’t be a problem) All we have to do is “BRING THE WOOD”. *WHO DAT!!!*
