G.E.’s = Time to forget how to code and get Jew Jitsu’d

jews

G.E.’s are a necessary part of your education here at Platt College. But it seems like it can be very easy to get caught in the mode of doing conventional homework and not keeping up on their coding skills. The way I think of G.E’s is like a vacation from real school as weird as that sounds. So I want to give you, the reader, some pointers on keeping up with your skills.

1. Give yourself projects and be your own client.

2. Give yourself deadlines to help you prioritize tasks.

3. Make sure you record your time completing your sites and try beat your time so more money stays in your pockets not your clients.

4. Challenge yourself

5. Last but not least NEVER STOP LEARNING! Keep up with your blogs and tutorials.

I learned to keep up these tasks from watching and talking to previous graduates and asking them their experience after technical classes. They all agreed it’s very easy to get caught in a trap of laziness.  So all in all do yourself some justice and practice or your’re gonna forget how to do things and then what did you spend your sixty f$&k!n grand on!
