Recipe for Real Italian Bruschetta

One of the most delicious and easy foods to prepare, and it is very nutritious. For best results enjoy bruschetta on a late summer afternoon in an olive grove with a few friends.

Ingredients:

  • Bread (Real bread from the bakery. White Sheepherders bread will work)
  • Garlic cloves
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt

Preparation:

  • Slice a few pieces of bread about half an inch thick.
  • Peel the skin off of a nice clove of garlic.

Method:

  1. Toast the bread.
  2. Liberally rub the garlic straight on to the toast.
  3. Pour a generous helping of olive oil.
  4. Add a little salt to taste if you like.

Ready to Serve. Eat immediately.

NB: For Bruschetta al Pomodoro add finely cubed fresh tomato before you pour the oil. Add salt and pepper to taste.
