Recipe for Real Italian Bruschetta
One of the most delicious and easy foods to prepare, and it is very nutritious. For best results enjoy bruschetta on a late summer afternoon in an olive grove with a few friends.
Ingredients:
- Bread (Real bread from the bakery. White Sheepherders bread will work)
- Garlic cloves
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt
Preparation:
- Slice a few pieces of bread about half an inch thick.
- Peel the skin off of a nice clove of garlic.
Method:
- Toast the bread.
- Liberally rub the garlic straight on to the toast.
- Pour a generous helping of olive oil.
- Add a little salt to taste if you like.
Ready to Serve. Eat immediately.
NB: For Bruschetta al Pomodoro add finely cubed fresh tomato before you pour the oil. Add salt and pepper to taste.
